Nail shaped earrings
The most popular and common type. The needle of the earring passes through the ear hole and is fixed with a bracket on the back of the ear. Usually, nail shaped earrings are used for ear piercing.
Two nail shaped dangling earrings
When the ear drops, there is usually a string of jewelry as an embellishment. The length varies, some only 2 centimeters below the earbuds, while others can grow up to the shoulders. Long hanging earrings, usually used in grand occasions.
Ring shaped earrings
A 360 degree circle with a hole in the middle that passes through the ear hole. In ancient China, there was a ring shaped earring made of a chipped jade ring called a jade ring. Some scholars believed that wearing a jade ring required wearing a large ear hole, while others believed that it was a clip style earring.
Hanging Earrings
No need to nail the ear hole design, only hanging on the back of the ear. This hanging earring is also becoming increasingly popular.
Clip shaped, magnetic earrings
For the convenience of those who do not have pierced ears, some circular earrings will be designed in a clip shape, holding the ear beads. Granular or nail shaped earrings are generally not designed to be clip shaped, so it is necessary to use the characteristics of magnets to clamp the ear beads. The magnetic stone earrings are respectively an outer earring with a magnet connected to it, and an inner mini magnet with opposite magnetism. The two magnets firmly grip the ear beads.
Silicone Earrings
This type of earring does not use clamping force to grip the ear, but uses friction between silicone and the skin to prevent the earring from falling off. Compared to other clip on earrings that can easily cause pain in order to clamp, silicone earrings can be said to be less likely to cause pain.
